The short version: Follower Change analyzes your files in your browser, so your follower data is not sent anywhere for analysis.

How the tool works
Follower Change analyzes Instagram follower and following export files that you provide — JSON, HTML, or ZIP files downloaded from your own Instagram data export. Analysis happens entirely in your browser, using the files you select. You never need to enter your Instagram password, log in to Instagram, or connect your account in any way.

Your files stay in your browser
The files you select are read into your browser's memory and analyzed there. Your uploaded datasets are not sent to our servers for analysis — the tool contains no network requests that transmit your follower data. Nothing from your datasets is stored in localStorage or cookies, and no usernames or account data are placed in page URLs.

No analytics or tracking scripts
The current version of Follower Change includes no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts.

Serving the website
Like any website, the hosting provider necessarily processes ordinary request information (such as the network address your browser uses to reach the site) in order to serve pages. We do not control or make claims about their internal practices.

Use data you have the right to process
Only analyze data exports you have the right to process. You are responsible for obtaining your Instagram data lawfully and for complying with Instagram's terms when downloading your own information.
